Founded in 2005, IDEA (English Language and Literature Research Association of Turkey) is the Turkish national association for English studies. As the only professional association in Turkey affiliated with ESSE (The European Society for the Study of English), IDEA aims at bringing together academics working in the fields of linguistics, literature, language teaching and cultural studies. The 17th IDEA Conference, which will be held on the basis of in-person participation only, will be hosted by the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Fırat University, Elazığ. The 17th IDEA Conference will be held on May 07-09, 2025 at Fırat University Campus, Elazığ.
